COURSE REGULATIONS

These Course Regulations outline the CFA course organization rules (hereinafter referred to as the CFA course, course or training) as well as entrance requirements and withdrawal policy.

In these Regulations the following terms shall mean:

Organizer – „Kursmaklerski.pl” with its registered offices in Warsaw at ul. Kaden-Bandrowskiego 9/48,

CFA course, also referred to as the course or training – training held by the Organizer, preparing for the CFA exam,

Client – a natural person, not being a consumer within the meaning of art. 221 of the Civil Code, a legal person or an entity with no legal capacity, appointing a Participant or Participants to participate in the course,

Participant – any person participating or a person appointed by the Client to participate in the CFA course.

Background information

  1. A training day is 8 hours long; sessions start at 9 a.m. and finish at 5 p.m. at the latest.
  2. The sessions are held at the location and at the time given in the course offer.
  3. Refreshments are provided by the Organizer; cold and hot drinks: tea, coffee, mineral water and juices as well as light refreshments and sweet snacks are available throughout the course.
  4. Participants receive course materials prepared by the trainer, including a handbook and practice tests.
  5. Each Participant who has completed the training will be awarded a course cerificate issued in their name.
  6. After completing the course, each Participant can contact their tutor by email or on the phone for advice with regard to any task or problem.

    Entrance requirements for the CFA course

  7. To enter a CFA course a candidate is required to:
    a) send to the Organizer a completed registration form available online on the Organizer’s website, giving personal data such as name and surname, contact phone number and email address. The Client is required to send the Participant’s or Participants’ data using the online registration form or by email;
    b) pay a fee of PLN 3700 or the first instalment in the amount of PLN 1700 into the Organizer’s bank account available on the Organizer’s website.
  8. Participants who have enrolled on the CFA course are deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions of the course set out in these Regulations.
  9. Participants who have registered for the course will receive an email including detailed information about the course, 14 days before its commencement at the latest.
  10. Within 3 working days of the date on which the total fee amount or the first instalment is credited to the Organizer’s account, the Participant or the Client will receive an email confirming their enrolment on the course.
  11. The email confirming the enrolment guarantees that the place on the list of participants has been booked.
  12. Within 3 working days of the date on which the payment of the second instalment is credited to the Organizer’s account, the Participant or the Client will receive an email confirming payment of the second instalment.
  13. The Participant or the Client is required to pay the entire fee no later than 7 days before the start of the course.
  14. Should the fee be paid after the Organizer has published on its website information about closing the Participants list, it will be refunded within 7 working days into an indicated bank account.
  15. The Participants will be enrolled on the course in the order of payments credited to the Organizer’s account.
  16. Resignation from the course by email no later than 7 days before the commencement of the course is free of charge (date of receipt of the letter by the Organizer); the entire fee will be refunded into an indicated bank account within 7 working days.
  17. Should resignation not be made or should it be made later than 7 days before the commencement of the course, the fee paid will not be refunded.
  18. Should a Participant not attend the course, the Organizer will nor refund the fee. The Participant is entitled to attend the next edition of the course.
  19. Should a Participant not be able to attend the course due to reasons beyond their control, the Organizer may agree to another participant filling this vacancy.
  20. Participants receive an invoice during the first session of the course. Upon request the invoice may be sent by email or by post at the address indicated by the Participant or the Client, after payment has been made but before the course commences.
  21. Upon request of the Participant or of the Client, payment can be made against a pro forma invoice issued before by the Organizer and sent by email or by post.
  22. The Organizer has the right to cancel the course for reasons beyond its control and to inform the Participants thereof by phone or by email no later than 5 days before the start of the course.
  23. Should the course be cancelled, the fee paid into the Organizer’s bank account will be refunded within 7 working days into an indicated bank account.
  24. Should there arise circumstances which would make it impossible for the Organizer to hold the course at the location and time given in the course schedule, the Organizer will have the right to change the location and time of the course. The Participants will be informed thereof by phone or by email no later than 5 days before the start of the course. Should a Participant not accept the above changes, the entire fee shall be refunded within 7 working days into a bank account indicated by the Participant.

    Final provisions

  25. These Regulations make an integral part of the order, within the meaning of art. 384 of the Civil Code.
  26. Any dispute arising out of and in connection with the agreements made pursuant to these Regulations shall be settled by the court competent for the Organizer’s place of business.
  27. These Regulations come into force as of 10 October 2013.
